About The Event

We are inviting ALL Indigenous Women and 2-Spirited people to join our FREE LIFT Workshop! It is a 2-day, HIGHLY CELEBRATED, personal financial workshop to LIFT Your Future by Empowering Your Finances. Full of Indigenous teachings, prizes, and community.


The LIFT Workshop (Learning Indigenous Financial Teachings) is Free Teachings focusing on:


  • Decolonizing Your Money Mindset

  • Planning Your Personal Budgeting

  • Debt Planning

  • Navigating Credit

  • Investing In Yourself


The workshop will also have educational support, local success speakers, and more!


There will be LOTS OF PRIZES to be drawn throughout the two days, and even a DRAW FOR AN iPAD at the end of the event!

  • This event is for self-declared Indigenous women or Indigenous 2-Spirited people.

  • Indigenous is considered self-declared First Nation, Metis, or Inuit.

* Please note that your Indigenous and gender status does not require verification as it is self-declared ONLY.

* Participants must be in attendance at the time of drawing to win any prize, or they will be drawn again

*This workshop is for those in and around the community - there will be No Compensation for travel and No Accommodations.

We collect the following personal information from you:

  • Names

  • Email addresses

  • Phone numbers

  • Demographic information (e.g., date of birth, occupation)

  • Address

  • Gender Identity

 

Program-Specific Information collected:

For specific programs, we require additional personal information, including:

  • Race (as required by government funding partners)

  • Social Insurance Number (SIN) (as required by government funding partners, when or if a qualified participant)

  • Financial information (as required by government funding partners)

 

Data Security:

The Participant agrees that Community Futures Lesser Slave Lake Region and other service providers participating in any CFLSLR program may store Participant Data (including any Personal Data) in secure servers in Canada and may access that Participant Data (including any Personal Data) from these servers from time to time.

 

 

Your Consent:

By signing this document, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this disclaimer. You understand that your personal information will be protected in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Alberta and PIPEDA.
