Community Futures Slave Lake, in partnership with the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP), Alberta Government, and the Rotary Club of Slave Lake Public Library, is hosting a cover letter and resume writing workshop. This event will take place on September 12, 2024, with two sessions available: 1:00-4:00 PM or 5:00-8:00 PM, at the Rotary Club of Slave Lake Public Library, 50 Main St. SW, Slave Lake, AB.

What to Expect:
- Welcome & Introductions: We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the workshop.
- Cover Letter & Resume Writing: Participants will be guided through the process of how to create a cover letter and resume.
- Work Time: Participants will be given time to work on writing the cover letter and resume.
- Actionable Takeaways: Participants will leave the workshop with a completed cover letter and resume, which can be used to obtain potential employment.
Additional Information:
- Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided to participants. Please let us know if there are any dietary restrictions.
- Break time: There will be time to take a break.
