Boom Eyelashes by Kelly - A Digital Economy Program Success Feature

Featuring Kelly Jean of Boom Eyelashes

Today, we’re featuring Kelly Jean Omalin, the owner of Boom Eyelashes By Kelly. Specializing in lash extensions, brow lamination, dermaplaning, and nail extensions, Kelly's passion for beauty led her to pursue further education after graduating from university.

Kelly's journey started when she decided to learn how to do lashes for her mom. She took a course in the city, got certified, and began practicing with family and friends. Their positive reactions inspired her to turn her skills into a business in 2021.

Boom Eyelashes Studio is driven by Kelly's love for making clients feel beautiful. Her mission is to enhance their natural beauty in a welcoming and comfortable environment, boosting their confidence and empowerment.

In November 2022, Kelly recognized the need for expansion and moved to a new studio located in Potpourri Mall. This primary decision reflects her commitment to providing high-quality service and growing her presence in the beauty industry.

The opportunity to join the Digital Economy Program was brought to Kelly’s attention by our DSS, Fatima Galvez and Divine Kitchen. With the program's help, Kelly got more clients, proving how powerful social media is.

How did the DEP support your business?

"They were instrumental in helping me build my online presence. They designed my website, created my logo, and gave me valuable advice on improving my social media strategies."

They were accommodating and paid attention to every small detail when enhancing my social media content. They even showed me how to use Canva to create eye-catching posts."

-Kelly Jean Omalin

Kelly's primary goal now is to learn more about the beauty business and to provide the best service to her clients while building her reputation in the local beauty community.
