One amazing day that will ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in your child. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth, Kindergarten to high school, how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand.
Lemonade Day is on June 18, 2022
Our mission is to help today’s youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers, and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow...one lemonade stand at a time!
What is Lemonade Day?
Help us empower today’s youth to be tomorrow’s entrepreneurs!
Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches Alberta youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. Our local communities that are participating in our region include Canyon Creek, Widewater, and Slave Lake.
Lemonade Day is open to kids - from kindergarten to high school. Each child that registers attends Lemonade University where they receive a backpack with an Entrepreneur Workbook that teaches them the lessons of Lemonade Day like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, and problem-solving, to help gain self-esteem critical for future success.
They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some.
If your child would like to participate in Lemonade Day and does not live in one of these towns, they are still welcome to participate, BUT they must set up their Lemonade Stand in one of the participating towns on Lemonade Day, June 18th, 2022.
